Great place great people. We had no where to eat on Christmas day and they finally opened and to our delight the bartender had made beef stew for everyone for free so we finally got to eat and it was great.

Although a bit loud for my taste sometimes, there bloody Mary's are bloody tasty. And the crowd is usually good.

Great staff, they are super attentive, friendly, amazing atmosphere, so fun. Good drinks, and have fun events. Love this place! Performed here and had an awesome time.

Best staff in all of Iowa City! Hired them to serve at our wedding and couldn’t have been happier! The owner, Ben, was extremely easy to communicate with and helped tremendously with any hiccups. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to do the same! Check out how friendly the Deadwood staff is next time you’re downtown for a drink!

Love the towny bar vibe. Deadwood is such a relic of Iowa City. $2 PBR cans, 2 pool tables, tons of seating, some arcade games, darts, fun holiday events with drink specials, and friendly bar staff. Cash only! You've been warned! Love going out on date nights here.

Should rate it 1/5 so people stop coming here. It's one of the best. Keep it on the DL.
